Nominations for the 2026-2027 PTO Executive Officer Board have closed. The officers of the PTO Executive Board are selected by the Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee will meet in mid/late February 2027 to slate PTO Officers for the 2027-2028 school year. The slate will be presented and voted on during the PTO General Membership meeting in March 2027.
The following officer positions will automatically move from their 2026-2027 Elect roles into the following positions for the 2027-2028 school year.

Executive Board Roles & Responsibilities
President: The President of the PTO serves a delegate to the VHCS Council of PTOs, presides at all VHELP PTO meetings, appoints committee chairs and coordinates the work of officers and committees.
President-Elect: Serves as a delegate to the VHCS Council of PTOs, attends all VHELP PTO meetings, and assists the President. This three-year term includes positions as President-Elect, President and Parliamentarian.
Vice President of Fundraising: Serves as fundraising chair for fall and spring fundraising events, attends all VHELP PTO meetings and serves on the Special Projects Committee.
Vice President of Community Partners: Coordinates with community partners through the annual corporate campaign, serves as a liaison between community partners and VHELP PTO by working with VP of Fundraising, VP of Communications, and Hospitality Committee to ensure all areas of the corporate campaign promises are met and serves on the Special Projects Committee.
Vice President of Communications: Oversees communications to general membership, including but not limited to the newsletter, website and social media, and provides all board members with communication instructions and assistance. Vice President of Volunteers: Coordinates general volunteer recruitment and serves as room parent program lead.
Treasurer: The PTO Treasurer manages the organization’s finances by maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing budgets, processing payments, and providing regular financial reports to the board and members. This role helps ensure transparency and accountability while supporting fundraising efforts and the overall financial health of the PTO.
Treasurer-Elect: Acts as aide to the Treasurer, serves as Treasurer for next election year, and keeps full and accurate accounts of all funds collected from fundraisers.
Secretary: Records minutes and attendance at all VHELP PTO meetings and assists the VP of Communications as needed.
Parliamentarian: The Parliamentarian serves as an aide to the President, advising on parliamentary procedure and ensuring meetings and committees run smoothly. This role leads the Policies and Procedures review every three years, and attends monthly VHELP PTO and bi-monthly VH Council PTO meetings.
