Vestavia Hills Elementary Liberty Park

Dear Liberty Park Families,

It is an honor to serve as your assistant principal! Prior to this appointment, I have had the pleasure of being a classroom teacher for 17 years, 10 of those in 4th and 5th grades at VHELP. It truly is a dream come true to be able to step into this role and serve our community in this way. 

My husband, Clayton, and I have two daughters who both attended VHELP. This school and community are dear to me and our family and have helped shape our girls in great ways both academically and relationally. We spend a lot of our free time on the softball field with Ann Clayton and on the track and trails with Kate as she runs all year. 

It is my desire to pour into this school and our community by living out our school’s core values. Being R.E.B.E.L.S. Who Lead is an essential part of our school culture and I look forward to modeling the expectations of Respect, Empathy, Bravery, Excellence, Legacy, and Service. I especially hope to help encourage your children to adopt them as a part of who they are as well. As teammates, Mrs. Marron and I look forward to bringing strategic growth to our school and students. If you ever need anything, please do not hesitate to ask.
